About Kristen
My Philosophy
The focus of Murphy’s Geriatric Consultants is to ensure my clients are treated with the utmost respect and dignity that they deserve, as they transition into the final chapter of their lives. I understand how difficult this transition can be for the family and loved ones, both emotionally and financially. This is why I strive to quickly build an enduring and committed partnership which enables us to develop a comprehensive plan tailored to each client’s needs. I pride myself in utilizing any and all relationships needed to serve our clients.
About Kristen
Kristen lives in the Outer Banks with her two daughters. She grew up in a Foreign Service family and came to respect and revere the elderly population. She has always had a special connection with her grandparents and wanted to work with the elderly as her career choice. Kristen has an MS in Gerontology from the University of Southern California and a BS in Health Science from James Madison University. She is a Certified Care Manager and is a member of The National Association for Professional Geriatric Care Managers. In addition, as a former collegiate swimmer, she enjoys and continues to coach age-group swimming and remain involved in the community.
